Jessica McDonald

 (She/her)

Registered Psychologist #4915

I was born and raised in Calgary and had the privilege of completing my education at Mount Royal University, the University of Calgary, and Gonzaga University. Before establishing my private practice in 2017, I gained valuable experience working with McMan Youth & Family Services, CUPS, Alberta Health Services, and other local community-based agencies.

As a dedicated professional specializing in formal assessments, I bring a deep understanding of the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes that influence an individual’s learning, home life, work life, and overall well-being. My work involves collaborating with individuals and their families to identify specific learning needs, attentional issues, cognitive delays, executive functioning challenges, and giftedness. I approach each assessment with compassion and attention to detail, aiming not only to identify challenges but also to highlight unique strengths. My ultimate goal is to ensure that individuals and their families feel heard, understood, and equipped with the best possible solutions to support their needs.

I am married and have one fur-baby, Molly, who has brought endless joy and comfort to our lives since joining our family. I love attending hockey games, getting lost in a good book, and taking Molly on various adventures. In my spare time, I indulge in my passion for baking, with a special love for making pies.
