Registered Psychologist #6892
I am a registered psychologist who works with adults, couples, and teens who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. My work integrates the evidence-based approaches of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based interventions, Narrative Therapy, and emotion-focused approaches. Sessions focus on building insight, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing practical strategies that support meaningful change as you navigate periods of transition, uncertainty, or loss of direction.
Before becoming a psychologist, I spent almost a decade working in research and development as a professional engineer. I then found my passion in psychology, a place where I could bring my curiosity and creativity to the pursuit of helping individuals and families in need. This mix of technical and clinical experience helps me balance problem-solving skills with navigating emotional experiences that may come up in therapy.
Appointments for you are tailored based on your individual situation, with attention brought to current concerns and the patterns that may have shaped each person over time. Together, we explore how these past experiences influence present challenges, while working toward greater flexibility and self-understanding. Care is taken to move at a pace that feels safe and respectful, with an emphasis on building stability before deeper exploration.
Outside of work, you might find me at the pool, playing board games/Dungeons & Dragons, or reading a good book. However, spending time with my wife and our cats and dog is my favourite place to be. If you're looking for a safe and supportive space to feel heard I'd love to set up a time to chat.
