Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCPA) #10010246

My approach is client-centered and collaborative. I focus on meeting you where you’re at and finding practical, realistic strategies that fit your life. I also value humor and connection; I believe counselling can be meaningful and supportive while still having moments of lightness and laughter when it feels right.

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, holding a Master’s in Counselling and a strong background in education and school-based mental health. I have spent 4 years as a middle school counsellor and 16 years teaching, giving me a deep understanding of the challenges children, teens, and adults face in learning, relationships, and everyday life.

I work with children, teens, and adults, specializing in self-esteem, anxiety, grief, relationships, trauma, school-related concerns, and teacher burnout. I also support clients with depression, emotional regulation, interpersonal difficulties, bullying, and family transitions. I’m passionate about helping people build resilience, confidence, and a stronger sense of self. My therapeutic work is often integrative and is based primarily in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

Outside of work, I’m married with two teenagers (14 and 17) and enjoy travelling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. At the end of the day, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood, and to help you build the tools and confidence to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and resilience.
